5.LRP FAQs

1. Documents should be in owners name?

   • Rental Agreement/Sale deed should be in the applicants name or Spouse name

   • Vehicle RC can be in applicant or spouse name

   • Spouse details should be proved with ration card

2. Can the vehicle be in company's name but still qualify for LRP?

   • No, if vehicle is registered in company's name it doesn't qualify for LRP.

3. Can Aadhar Card be used an ID proof?

   • No, Aadhar Card cannot be applied as an ID proof.

4. How long is the temporary LRP (if the address proofs are not in Hira address) are valid?

   • If your address proof is not in Hira address, you qualify only for a temporary pass that is valid only for one year.

   • The expectation is that you make sure you have these documents changed to HIRA address within this year and qualify for the permanent pass (that's renewable every year)
